“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” This was Jesus’ invitation to His weary disciples (Luke 5:16). You are invited to a day of solitude, reflection, and prayerfulness. While there is no formal program, the Day to Pause is a place for:
Restful Time with God
Quiet Space (indoor & outdoor)
Encouraging Respite
Those who care for the souls of others, often neglect their own.
Come Away and Rest
Shepherding Well is providing space at several venues across the foothills of North Carolina for pastors, ministry leaders, and caregivers to step away from the burden of ministry and find rest. These day-long retreats offer restful spaces for quiet reflection and time with God. Participants can arrive as early as 9am and stay until 4pm. The cost of a “Day to Pause” event is $20 per person. This includes rental of the space, provided lunch, and resources.
